About Us
We started HeelToStyle because good shoes shouldn’t sit in the closet unworn. Here’s who we are and why we do this.
WHO ARE WE
Everything You Want to Know
HeelToStyle started with a simple, annoying problem: buying shoes we loved, then never wearing them because we couldn’t figure out what to pair them with. So we started writing it down — outfit by outfit, shoe by shoe — until it turned into a full site. We’re not stylists with design degrees. We’re people who got genuinely good at solving this one specific problem, and we wanted to share it.

Emily started HeelToStyle after one too many pairs of boots sat unworn in her closet simply because she couldn’t figure out what to wear them with. What began as personal outfit notes turned into a full site dedicated to practical, wearable shoe styling. She leads content direction and writes most of the site’s occasion-based outfit guides.

Contribution Writer | Sneaker & Boots
Sarah Mitchell
Sarah’s the one behind most of HeelToStyle’s sneaker and boot content. She’s spent years experimenting with pairing casual footwear into everyday outfits and has a soft spot for finding new ways to style the same pair of white sneakers. She keeps an eye on seasonal trends so the site’s advice stays current.

Nathan Brooks
Nathan handles the site’s dressier content and its more practical side — from wedding-guest shoe pairings to keeping your favorite pair looking new for longer. He believes good style shouldn’t mean uncomfortable shoes, and most of his posts reflect that balance between looking good and actually being able to walk in it.
